ACCOUNT OVERVIEW

OpenMind was recently awarded the ZEUR assignment for Nestlé Europe. With 47 countries, over 450 team members, and regular new product launches, the account seeks an experienced digital planner and leader to support the Above Market team. This role offers variety, with a balance of leadership, governance, and innovation to deliver change at scale. We aim to create something special with Nestlé and invite you to be part of it.

OVERVIEW OF ROLE:

A digital media professional managing cutting-edge brands across various sectors/categories. The Senior Director – Digital will manage client relationships and drive the digital agenda, delivering integrated digital solutions to meet client objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage client requests and delegate tasks appropriately to team members.
  • Guide team members in developing strategic thinking and media planning skills.
  • Drive digital acceleration and apply digital planning principles.
  • Collaborate with specialist teams to stay updated on their latest offerings.
  • Work closely with media partners on responses to briefs and proactive initiatives.
  • Continuously learn about the client’s category, competitive activity, and the evolving media landscape.
  • Attend internal, client, and cross-agency meetings.
  • Use insights from strategy and business science teams to inform overall communications strategies.
  • Participate in new business pitches, providing insightful communication solutions.


WHAT YOU BRING:

  • A proactive leadership style committed to creating change.
  • Experience in digital strategy, media planning, consultancy, and execution within an agency environment.
  • Understanding of programmatic landscape, including trends and technologies (DMP, DSP, SSP).
  • Curiosity and the ability to challenge briefs constructively.

  • Experience managing people and adapting management styles.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Diplomatic skills to navigate client expectations and difficult situations.
