The role

This position provides and leads operational coverage of the company's CMS solution, Sitecore. Reporting directly to the Digital Systems Manager, this role supports the Digital function, with Sitecore being a significant part.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Own and manage all operational aspects of the Sitecore platform, including embedded functionality, ensuring infrastructure availability and ticket resolution within SLA
  • Lead administrative activities for Sitecore, including access management, whitelisting, and environment management
  • Manage engagement with Sitecore for upgrades, changes, new requirements, and quotations
  • Track and follow up on tickets raised/escalated to internal teams or vendors, ensuring resolution within SLA
  • Develop and improve processes and relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring alignment with operational procedures for tickets and upgrades
  • Collaborate with the Digital Products Team to manage and prioritize work items and tickets
  • Manage security and PEN testing efforts to ensure platform security and stability, with proper reporting and corrective actions
  • Support functional and user testing activities as needed
  • Support large-scale releases and deployments, including deploying Sitecore releases and content to Production
  • Assist in updating content and copy in Production for the business and vendors
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring delivery meets core needs
  • Handle inbound requests for enhancements, changes, or new features, documenting requirements and forwarding to the backlog
  • Support change management and delivery processes to ensure on-time, within-budget solutions

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Sitecore CMS (Versions 9-10), including templates, layouts, roles & workflows, publishing, versioning
  • Sitecore Administration Certification
  • Experience with Azure DevOps; pipeline experience is a plus
  • Ability to understand complex business challenges quickly and extract core requirements
  • Experience managing an operational support ticketing system
  • Comfortable working in a multi-vendor environment and leading deliverables
  • Experience in Agile environments within Digital teams
  • Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience with low-code/development platforms
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build long-term relationships internally and externally
