Key Responsibilities
  1. Define & Implement Strategy – Lead the digital merchandising and content strategy to drive conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and customer engagement.
  2. Innovation & Optimisation – Identify and implement new technologies, tools, and enhancements to improve user experience and merchandising effectiveness.
  3. Team Leadership & Development – Inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and a passion for product, content, and creativity.
  4. Seamless Execution – Oversee content and merchandising plans, ensuring best practices, process efficiencies, and right-first-time execution.
  5. Stakeholder & Partner Management – Work closely with internal teams and external partners/suppliers to deliver on business objectives and maximise value.
  6. Data-Driven Decision Making – Use analytics, customer insights, and commercial data to continuously optimise performance and drive improvements.
  7. Champion Best Practices – Promote the merchandising function within the business, ensuring clear processes, training, and high standards across the team.
Skills & Experience
  1. Extensive experience in online merchandising, with a strong track record of driving performance.
  2. A proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
  3. Highly numerate, with the ability to analyse financial and competitor data to inform decision-making.
  4. Skilled at building and managing excellent relationships across functions.
  5. Experience in service and product marketing, pricing, promotions, and advertising, with a flair for creativity.
  6. Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a tenacious, detail-oriented approach.
  7. Strong interpersonal skills to engage and inspire teams, stakeholders, and partners.
