Job description

Digital Mechanical Inspector

Our client is currently on the search for a Digital Mechanical Inspector to work on site which is based in Chorley, the client operates a 4 day working week. This position will be working within the nuclear industry and will require candidates that have the ability to gain SC clearance. The position will be a full time staff position with a salary that is commensurate to your experience.

The client would be looking for candidates that have the ability and are proficient in the use of CAD software as well as being fully conversant in Mathematics and trigonometry. It is also essential for candidates to have substantial experience of reading and understanding engineering drawings and associated documentation.

Candidates must be competent users of measuring equipment e.g. Verniers micrometers, etc. If successful with the application you will be responsible for the calibration of measuring equipment and keeping records of this process as well as assisting in the development of necessary documentation and control of documentation, analysis & report on materials, processes and products.
