We are seeking a driven Digital Marketing Specialist with a focus on sales to support and grow our digital marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a basic understanding of digital marketing and a passion for building client relationships, closing deals, and driving revenue through digital campaigns. As a part of our sales team, you’ll work closely with our Director of Sales to attract new clients and promote our digital marketing services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in pitching and selling digital marketing services (e.g., Display, Geofencing, Social Media, SEM, etc.) to prospective local businesses.
- Support the creation and execution of digital marketing campaigns across digital platforms.
- Build and maintain client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct basic market research to identify potential leads and tailor presentations to client needs.
- Have a strong desire to be out of the office and in front of as many potential new clients as possible every day.
- Build engaging sales presentations.
- Monitor campaign performance and report results to clients and internal teams.
- Stay updated on digital marketing and sales trends to improve pitch strategies and campaign effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent coursework/internship/job experience). College degree encouraged, but not required.
- 0-2 years of experience in digital marketing or sales (internships, freelance work, or personal projects count).
- Basic familiarity with digital marketing tools like Google Analytics, Mailchimp, or social media ad platforms.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and build rapport with clients.
- Proven ability to meet sales goals or demonstrate persuasive skills (e.g., through internships, retail, or student projects).
- Eagerness to learn digital marketing and sales techniques in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with data analysis to track campaign performance and inform sales strategies.
- Basic knowledge of SEO, PPC, or social media advertising is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, cold call, generate leads, and perform other types of client outreach.
- Enthusiasm for creating compelling sales presentations or using graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, PowerPoint, etc.).
