Job Description

What are we looking for?

You will be responsible for creating demand for the area by securing a deep diagnosis of the brand, linked to Pet Ownership (PO) and healthy pet needs. You will use this to build the Area Brand strategy and effective Pet Owner programs and (personalized) activation across all paid, owned, and earned touchpoints in the cluster, based on the Global and EU Brand Strategy and global programs.

You will ensure that activation secures reach, conversion, and engagement with Pet owners, increasing brand awareness, equity, and long-term value, as well as short-term demand.

  • Solid brand and marketing functional knowledge and experience, including brand & media strategy, portfolio activation, utilizing digital platforms & CRM
  • Recent experience leading a marketing function for a major corporation
  • Strong leadership, strategic agility, and the ability to implement business strategies for competitive advantage
  • Able to influence without authority
  • Familiar with regional and global setups to drive market impact, managing business and teams in this environment, with deep consumer insights
  • Experience working with multinational companies and in a matrix, collaborative environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Accountable for the sustainable and profitable growth of the Royal Canin Brand through effective brand strategy and initiatives in a specific Cluster
  • Responsible for market diagnostics for the Brand and Healthy pet cluster, using this to build the annual integrated Brand Activation plan to secure reach, conversion, and engagement with Pet owners to increase long-term value
  • Develop communication strategies and deploy integrated marketing campaigns to create a seamless super-premium brand experience, guided by the global brand framework
  • Manage A&P budget and resources to ensure and optimize ROI across key initiatives
  • Drive end-to-end direct engagement, conversion, and retention at the market level
  • Collaborate closely with global and regional teams, including Media, Content, CRM, and PO insights analysts, to develop and execute market brand activations
  • Work with the Healthy portfolio end-to-end lead to translate portfolio strategy into action
