Do you thrive in a fast-paced marketing environment where your creativity, digital know-how, and project management skills can make a meaningful impact?

At Sanctuary Care, we believe in enriching lives - not just for the people we care for, but for the teams who work with us. We’re looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join us on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.

About the role

As our Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll lead the planning and delivery of digital campaigns across SEO, PPC, paid media, website, and social channels, helping families find compassionate care, when they need it most.

You’ll work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and wider team to bring campaigns to life, from coordinating digital content and creative assets to helping shape strategy and making sure all our platforms, including our Care Directory listings, are working effectively.

You’ll also be involved in wider brand and marketing activity, from photoshoots to supplier management, and play a key part in keeping day-to-day activity running smoothly when needed.

This role is hybrid, with some travel to care homes and Sanctuary offices, and occasional overnight stays.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading the digital strategy and delivery of campaigns across web, PPC, SEO and paid social
  • Overseeing the day-to-day management and optimisation of the Sanctuary Care and Vivant Care websites, as well as our various Care Directories
  • Managing agency relationships and performance
  • Using data to evaluate success and present insight-led recommendations
  • Working with the design team to develop on-brand creative assets
  • Supporting the development of written content for digital platforms
  • Line managing both the Digital Marketing Assistant and Social Media Officer, supporting their growth and development
  • Managing key digital suppliers, including call tracking software, digital profile management software, Care directories etc.
  • Supporting wider campaign delivery, including content gathering, photoshoots, and video production

What we’re looking for

You’ll be a confident, hands-on digital marketer with a broad understanding of multi-channel delivery and a strong sense of what good looks like. You’ll also bring:

  • Solid experience across SEO, PPC, paid social and website management
  • Strong project management skills and experience juggling multiple priorities
  • A data-led mindset with a clear understanding of performance reporting
  • Experience managing agencies and briefing creative content
  • A collaborative and flexible approach, with the confidence to work across teams and step in where needed

Why Sanctuary Care?

  • A supportive, inclusive culture where your voice matters.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression.
  • A chance to be part of a purpose-driven organisation with charitable values.
  • 25 days annual leave (rising to a maximum of 30 days) plus bank holidays
  • Life assurance
  • Contributory pension from Sanctuary Care
  • Access to a free 24/7 support service providing support including legal, financial, emotional and medical advice
  • Discounts on shopping, holidays, cinema, dining, days out and much more
