As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will work alongside our Head of Product (Retail) to drive performance across our Vertu Motors retail website. This role will serve as the link between our Product, UX/Development, and Retail Marketing teams, working to optimize our online journeys and maintain our digital merchandising excellence. You will own the retail and BAU workstreams, acting as a digital consultant to the wider marketing team.
We seek a process-driven self-starter with strong communication skills, capable of onboarding quickly and working autonomously. As a data-driven team, experience with analytics tools and deriving insights from data is essential.
Based in our head office in Team Valley, Gateshead, we offer hybrid working and a competitive salary of up to £38,000.
Core Activities Include
- Collaborate with Retail and Marcomms teams as a digital consultant to enhance customer experience across our sites.
- Develop, own, and implement processes to improve efficiencies within the Retail Web Team and broader marketing team.
- Identify opportunities to expand knowledge, reducing reliance on developers by working within our internal CMS.
- Lead digital initiatives such as transitioning to an agency model, opening new locations, and implementing group campaigns.
- Manage the implementation of manufacturer campaigns across websites.
- Map customer journeys, identify pain points, and find opportunities to add value at key touchpoints.
- Utilize data and insights to identify gaps, work with teams to develop solutions, and measure impact.
- Collaborate with the PPC Manager to optimize landing pages for performance and cost efficiency.
- Create detailed briefs supported by data, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Monitor performance against KPIs.
- Work closely with the Head of Product and team to prioritize work aligned with business objectives and communicate SLAs.
- Build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across various departments including SEO, PPC, content, UX, CRO, and more.
