We're looking for a Digital Marketing Executive (Organic Growth) to support the Royal Yachting Association's organic growth strategy through the creation, optimisation and governance of digital content across web and emerging search platforms.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a globally recognised organisation, helping to increase the visibility, engagement and impact of content that supports everyone from first-time participants to elite athletes, training centres, clubs and members.

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you'll work closely with colleagues across the organisation to ensure content performs effectively across traditional search engines, AI-powered search experiences and wider digital channels.

About the RYA

With over 100,000 members, 1,400 affiliated clubs and classes, a global network of 2,300 recognised training centres and responsibility for the British Sailing Team, the RYA plays a vital role in supporting participation, performance and training across the boating community.

About the Role
You will:
  • Monitor and implement SEO best practice across content, technical SEO and site architecture.

  • Use analytics and search data to identify content gaps and opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor content performance and provide recommendations to improve engagement and conversion.
  • Support the development and maintenance of content governance standards across the organisation.
  • Work with digital partners and agencies to deliver technical SEO improvements.
  • Stay informed of developments in search, AI, analytics and digital marketing, sharing best practice with colleagues.
  • Support content creators across the organisation, providing guidance on accessibility, usability and brand standards.
  • Manage relationships with digital agencies and oversee recommendations and delivery.
  • Support the wider Digital Marketing Team in achieving team objectives.
About You

  • Experience creating, managing or optimising digital content.
  • Experience using analytics and search data to inform recommendations.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent
Desirable
  • Experience with SEO platforms such as Ahrefs, SEMrush or Screaming Frog.
  • Experience using enterprise CMS platforms such as Umbraco, Drupal or WordPress.
