Job summary

An automotive marketing agency in Liverpool is seeking a Digital Marketing Executive to enhance email campaigns through automation and performance analysis. Candidates should have over 2 years of digital marketing experience, be detail-oriented, and proficient with email service providers. The Digital Marketing Executive role primarily blends email campaign execution, automation and performance channel support. Providing you the opportunity to deliver high-quality campaigns while helping shape how we improve performance and efficiency. This person will also work with external partners and B2B marketing.

We’re actively investing in AI and automation tools to streamline email creation and reduce repetitive tasks, freeing you up to focus on what works — testing, analysing and optimising campaigns.

What You’ll Be Doing

Email Campaign Execution & Automation

  • Build, test, and schedule marketing emails using automation and AI-assisted tools and ESP templates
  • Manage email send calendars, contact lists, data segmentation and suppression rules
  • Maintain deliverability, data hygiene, and compliance with GDPR regulations
  • Support the roll-out of automation to improve speed and consistency of campaign execution

Performance Testing & Analysis

  • Set up and manage A/B email tests to improve open rates, CTR and lead generation
  • Track email performance metrics and provide insight reports to the wider team
  • Work closely with CRO to optimise end-to-end email journey
  • A/B test new template designs and imagery for optimal performance

Channel Development

  • Contribute to the development of automated lifecycle campaigns and triggered journeys
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing team on ways to improve engagement and conversion
  • Support experimentation with AI tools for subject lines, content blocks and testing strategy

Email Partnership Support

  • Work with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver make/model-specific email campaigns
  • Ensure integration of new email data partners aligns with CRM strategy and performance goals
  • Assist with onboarding and testing of new email supply partnerships

Cross-Channel & B2B Support

  • Assist team members with campaign setup and optimisation across paid channels such as Meta Ads, Google Ads and Bing Ads
  • Contribute to B2B initiatives, including email campaigns, reporting, and digital content
  • Support ad copywriting, audience targeting, or data analysis as needed across the wider marketing team
  • Learn from senior performance marketers to develop cross-channel skills

Skills Required:

  • Wants to help shape a CRM programme that’s evolving with automation and AI
