Help us “Elevate Education, Everywhere.”

This is a rare opportunity to join two of the most recognisable names in the education space - all in one role.

Etio is a global consultancy focused on strengthening education systems. One of our flagship partnerships is with the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM), which leads the Department for Education’s Maths Hubs Programme - supporting thousands of schools across England.

You’ll be part of a tight-knit, fast-moving marketing team, working 80% of your time with NCETM and 20% supporting Etio’s brand and digital communications.

The Role: Digital Marketing Executive

This is a creative, hands-on role for someone who loves making content that cuts through. Working with the Design and Digital Manager, you’ll work on the delivery of social media and digital content, contributing to everything from newsletters and video clips to bold visuals and campaign assets

We’re looking for a self-starter with an eye for design, strong copywriting instincts, and a sense of what good digital engagement looks like. One day you might be filming a teacher at a Maths Hubs event, the next you’re building a Mailchimp campaign or editing a reel that showcases real impact.

You’ll work closely with the wider comms and marketing team, supporting campaigns that speak to teachers, leaders, policymakers, and sector partners - helping us get the right message to the right audience at the right time.

You Will: • Manage and grow NCETM’s social media presence, planning, creating and scheduling posts that drive real engagement • Capture and edit high-quality visuals and video content for newsletters, social media, and campaigns • Support the NCETM website with updates, uploads, and new content as needed • Contribute to the creation of newsletters, case studies, and other comms that showcase what’s working • Use tools like Adobe Creative Cloud and Instagram Reels to bring campaigns to life visually • Monitor digital performance and report on what’s landing, where we’re growing, and where to focus • Support Etio’s marketing campaigns with design, email marketing and event content • Use platforms like Mailchimp, Hootsuite, HubSpot or Canva to implement and support digital delivery • Assist with in-person and virtual events, including photo/video capture and asset creation • Liaise with suppliers, manage basic admin tasks, and support day-to-day marketing coordination

What You Bring: • Strong copywriting skills and the ability to adapt tone for different platforms and audiences • Demonstrable skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro (or similar) • Basic video editing skills (think Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts - you know the rhythm and the reach) • A good eye for layout, typography, and visual storytelling • A proactive approach – you’re organised, independent, and happy juggling deadlines across teams • Clear communication and collaboration skills, especially in remote working environments • Some understanding of how to manage content calendars and align them to brand goals

Qualifications

Essential: • Degree-level qualification or relevant professional training (CIM, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, etc.) • Experience in a fast-paced marketing or comms environment • Confidence using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, etc.) • Comfortable creating video and visual content • Strong organisational skills and an eye for detail

Desirable: • Knowledge of the education sector • Experience using tools like HubSpot, Mailchimp, Canva, Hootsuite, or Buffer • Familiarity with SharePoint, Teams, and CRM platforms

Why Etio & NCETM?

This is a role where your creativity will have real purpose. The content you create will help teachers grow, schools improve, and education systems evolve - at national scale.

We care about impact, not fluff. You’ll join a supportive, values-led team with room to grow and the trust to lead your own work.

Benefits • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (option to buy more) + your birthday off • Flexible, remote-first working culture • Health & Wellbeing benefits (Healthcare Cash Plan, Private Medical Insurance, EAP) • Enhanced family-friendly policies • Work from anywhere globally (up to 8 weeks!) • Paid volunteer day • Cycle to Work & Electric Car Scheme • 3% employer pension contribution

Accessibility & Adjustments

We want to make sure you can show us your best. If you need any adjustments to the process, just let us know - we’ll work with you to make it work.
