Scolmore have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic in-house team responsible for delivering Marketing, Communications, and Design services across the group of companies.
The Digital Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in being responsible for managing the Group’s digital marketing content across social media platforms, email campaigns and other digital marketing activities. The role involves creating and implementing engaging content, tracking the performance of digital activity & campaigns, and coordinating with other departments to ensure alignment with product launches, promotions, and brand messaging.
Main Duties
Social Media Management
• Design/create digital content for social media:
• Manage and implement marketing photography library
• Create artwork using Adobe Suite
• Plan and create Instagram Reels and TikTok videos
• Ad hoc content creation
• Assist in creating and developing digital marketing plans and define campaign schedules in line with product launches.
• Maintain and develop multiple social media channels for both lead-generation and branding purposes (involving use of social media scheduling tool) across the group companies for Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok.
• Researching & coming up with topic ideas, along with coordinating and booking slots for our active YouTube channel
• Assist with all digital marketing budgets, track campaign results and suggest improvements for future campaigns.
• Planning and running competitions across social channels
• Event implementation from a digital POV
• Supporting with PPC campaigns
• Creating and implementing PPC Campaigns
• Monitoring and analysing campaign performance with support from Senior Digital Marketing Executive
• Making reasonable adjustments to campaigns where necessary
• Support Senior Digital Marketing Executive with the execution of influencer program
• Assist with protecting the brand reputation through social monitoring i.e., helping with responses to online comments, feedback, reviews and complaints
Email Campaigns
• Creation of E-shots for 3rd party bookings:
• Liaising with 3rd party suppliers to book and supply content
• Design content, imagery and email structure
• Monitoring analytics of email performance with feedback on future developments.
• Support email communications and development of in-house email marketing where necessary.
Website Support
• Website content monitoring, liaising with design team and SEO analyst where necessary
• Uploading of supporting marketing material to company portals.
• Support with the creation and research of 3rd party website advertising.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
• Collaborate with Offline Marketing/Communications team to research, develop and implement marketing campaigns.
• Implementing digital outreach campaigns across email and social media platforms.
• Align digital activity with event or press activity.
• Liaise with Technical & Technical Engagement department to ensure digital campaigns align with business objectives where necessary.
Additional Marketing Activities
• Follow-up deliverables for any agreed partnerships or competitions.
• Assist with research opportunities to support digital activity including but not limited to competitor analysis.
• Follow existing company processes whilst providing valuable feedback and insights:
• Tracking and updating tasks with our project management system.
• Working closely with Senior Digital Marketing Executive to constructively review and develop digital marketing processes where necessary.
• Contribute to monthly digital reporting procedure including but not limited gathering stats and adding your own analysis to support with future learnings.
• Maintaining accurate records and project management across multiple digital platforms
• Undertake other tasks as reasonably directed from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the business.
• Act as a brand guardian ensuring digital materials are consistent in tone of voice, messaging and visual identity.
Essential Skills and Experience
• 4 years’ experience in a previous digital marketing role.
• Knowledge of a wide range of digital marketing techniques and concepts within social media, emailing marketing and digital campaign implementation.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and communication skills (digital specific) with the ability to adapt content to support multiple audiences (B2B and B2C) and platforms.
• Proven experience with managing social campaigns from start to finish on Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok.
• Strong creative mindset to assist with idea generation.
• A self-motivated, proactive individual with strong attention to detail with an analytical approach.
• A confident, reliable, hardworking individual, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
• Extensive knowledge of Hootsuite or similar social media scheduling program.
• Competent in Adobe Suite and Canva.
• Proven experience in creating Instagram Reels.
• Experience working with brand guidelines to maintain a high standard within brand messaging across all digital activity.
Desirable Skills and Experience
• Experience in using email building software.
• Understanding of SEO keywords.
• Digital Marketing or CIM qualification.
