Job summary

Ashfords LLP is seeking a Digital Marketing Assistant for our Exeter office to join a busy Marketing and Client Development team. You will help manage the firm’s digital presence, update content on the website, and contribute to social media campaigns to engage clients and prospects.

You will work across the full digital marketing mix, gaining experience in analytics, advertising, and multimedia content, while developing specialist skills in areas of interest within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a digital marketing role or a relevant marketing qualification.
  • Strong B2B copywriting skills with ability to simplify complex information.
  • Experience in website management and using CMS platforms.
  • Experience running social media channels, preferably LinkedIn and Instagram.
  • Experience using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
  • Knowledge of digital analytics tools to support campaigns.

Responsibilities

  • Support and deliver the firm's digital marketing activity.
  • Manage and update the company website.
  • Create and publish social media content.
  • Support campaigns including digital advertising, analytics, video and podcast production.

Job description

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant to join our Exeter office on a full-time and permanent basis.

Our Marketing and Client Development team supports the firm's full range of internal and external communications. They ensure marketing and communication activities are engaging, targeted and aligned with the firm's strategy and business objectives.

As a Digital Marketing Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting and delivering the firm's digital marketing activity. You'll have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects that contribute directly to the firm's growth and brand profile, including managing and updating our website, social media content creation, digital advertising, analytics, and video and podcast production.

Working closely with colleagues across the Marketing team and wider business, you'll help ensure Ashfords maintains a best-in-class digital presence, creating engaging content and supporting campaigns that connect with existing and prospective clients.

This is a varied role that offers the opportunity to work across the full digital marketing mix while developing specialist skills in areas that interest you. You'll be encouraged to explore new opportunities and continue developing your expertise as part of a supportive and collaborative team.

Who you are

You will ideally have previous experience in a digital marketing role or hold a relevant marketing qualification. The successful candidate will be a confident content creator with excellent B2B copywriting skills, able to turn complex information into engaging and accessible online content. You will have experience in website management and using CMS platforms, as well as running social media channels, preferably LinkedIn and Instagram.

You will also be passionate about graphic design and content creation, with experience using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva. You'll have a creative mindset and an up-to-date understanding of digital marketing trends and best practice, alongside knowledge of digital analytics tools, including Google Analytics, to support the delivery of effective marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives.
