The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Assistant to join our team based in Chertsey.
The Digital Marketing Assistant will report to the Marketing Director, assisting and supporting the Marketing Director in all areas of the companys marketing function. The core focus of this role is to help strengthen and grow our digital presence through a targeted, data-driven approach. Youll take ownership of executing, monitoring, and reporting on digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, helping to shape how we present ourselves online and connect with our audience.
Responsibilities
Providing support directly to the Marketing Director
Assisting and supporting the Marketing Director in all areas of the companys marketing function.
Social Media, Industry Media & Website
Create, schedule and publish social media posts across Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram feeds.
Assist with the release of video podcast content on YouTube, along with audio only content across other platforms.
Using targeted strategies to grow social media followers and YouTube subscribers.
Monitoring social media activity.
Monitoring industry press and partner news feeds for relevant content.
Build, edit and publish website content (Wordpress training to be provided).
Build, edit and publish online advertising campaigns, across social media platforms and Google Ads.
Monitoring and reporting on web analytics.
Assisting in the execution and evaluation of campaigns
Sourcing and editing images for digital campaigns.
Executing digital campaigns across multiple channels.
Monitoring campaign successes and failures.
Creating and tracking campaign leads in our Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
Providing campaign status reports back to Marketing Director and partners if required.
Attending briefing calls with partners and agencies.
Assisting with the set up and co-ordination of corporate events/webinars.
For in person events assisting with booking venues, organising catering.
Monitoring attendee lists, sending out confirmation correspondence.
On occasion you may be required to attend events.
Updating marketing templates
Updating corporate brochureware / presentations.
Providing formatting assistance if required by the wider team.
Requirements
A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar marketing role
Strong verbal and written communication
Experience with social media networks including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram
Experience with Wordpress preferable
Excellent computing skills, especially Word & Excel
Adobe Creative Suite experience (Photoshop at a minimum)
Strong attention to detail
Passion and enthusiasm for digital marketing
The ability to work as an efficient, reliable and flexible team member
Great people-friendly attitude and positive energy
Excellent administration skills
Knowledge and experience of the marketing mix
Organised, self-motivated and accountable for your own workload
The role is 9:00am 5:00pm Monday to Friday, based in Chertsey, Surrey
The Package:c£24,000 - £28,000 Basic (depending on experience)
