Calling all aspiring Marketers! Baltic Apprenticeships are thrilled to be partnering with wi-Q Technologies to hire a Digital Marketing Apprentice!

This is a remote-only role with monthly and quarterly meet-ups. The ideal candidate will be based in either Southampton or Hull.

wi-Q is an innovative software company dedicated to revolutionising the hospitality industry through cutting-edge technology solutions. They are looking for a motivated and creative Marketing Apprentice to join their dynamic team and gain valuable real-world experience. Working closely with the Head of Marketing and the Marketing Executive, you will develop your skills in various aspects of marketing while contributing to initiatives that enhance the brand’s presence in the hospitality sector.

As a marketing apprentice, you will be responsible for social media campaigns, PR, events, web, email marketing, and more! This is a great opportunity to enhance your marketing skills and learn from industry professionals to kick-start your career.

You will work towards your Level 3 Marketing Apprenticeship, delivered by Baltic Apprenticeships’ expert training team.

A Typical Day in the Job:

1. Social Media Campaigns: Create engaging content using management tools, own the social calendar, schedule posts, create copy, and develop artwork with Canva.
2. PR: Develop and maintain a PR database, research and pitch the CEO for industry publications.
3. Events: Research relevant industry events to promote wi-Q’s offerings and ensure presence at key forums.
4. Web: Analyze the website, assist with SEO improvements, and contribute to strategic planning.
5. Competitive research: Monitor competitors to inform marketing strategies.
6. Email Marketing: Create and manage email campaigns, analyze results, and implement new ideas.
7. wi-Q Way: Collaborate across departments to understand business operations and marketing integration.
8. Systems: Gain experience with marketing tools like Active Campaigns, Canva, HubSpot, Salesforce, and Asana.

Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and the Baltic team.

Salary, Hours & Benefits:

• Salary: £16,000
• Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Remote working with monthly department and quarterly company meet-ups (travel paid for meet-ups in Manchester)

Your Training with Baltic Apprenticeships
