Job Purpose
The Digital Marketing Apprentice role offers a dynamic opportunity to develop strategic marketing skills within a digital-first environment. Under the guidance of experienced marketers, you will gain practical experience across the entire digital marketing lifecycle, including content creation, campaign execution, SEO, data analytics, and customer engagement.
This programme is ideal for recent graduates or final-year students with a strong interest in marketing, communications, or media who are eager to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios while earning a degree or advanced qualification concurrently.

Key Responsibilities
Campaign Development & Execution
- Support the planning and delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social media, paid search, web).
- Assist in scheduling, executing, and monitoring marketing activities aligned with business goals.
Content Marketing & Copywriting
- Contribute to creating compelling content across digital channels (blogs, social media, newsletters, videos, whitepapers).
- Ensure brand consistency, tone of voice, and SEO optimization across all content outputs.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) & Web Analytics
- Conduct keyword research, backlink analysis, and technical SEO audits.
- Monitor and report on traffic, engagement, and campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Search Console, and SEMrush.
Email Marketing & CRM
- Create and distribute segmented email campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp and HubSpot.
- Assist in maintaining marketing automation workflows and CRM integrations.
Social Media Management
- Plan, create, and schedule content across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Track social media metrics and provide insights on performance and audience trends.
Market Research & Competitor Analysis
- Conduct research on target markets, customer personas, and emerging digital trends.
- Support benchmarking exercises and competitive analysis for positioning and growth planning.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Use analytics tools to track KPIs such as conversion rates, bounce rates, CPC/CPA, and customer acquisition cost.
- Contribute to monthly performance reports and dashboards.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (completed or ongoing) in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Eligibility to enroll in a Level 6 or Level 7 Digital Marketing apprenticeship program.
Core Skills & Competencies
Technical Marketing Skills
- Basic understanding of digital marketing techniques and platforms.
