Role Description

Job Title: Digital Marketeer

As a Digital Marketeer, you will develop, execute, and optimise digital marketing campaigns across various online platforms. You will work to increase our brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads that support our commercial and public sector objectives. Your role will involve content creation, campaign management, SEO, analytics, and the day-to-day running of digital channels, including our websites and social media channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and manage digital marketing campaigns across web, email, and social media channels.
  • Manage and specify website content, ensuring it aligns with our brand identity and messaging.
  • Use SEO and analytics tools to improve search visibility, competitor positioning, keywords and user experience.
  • Develop engaging content for various platforms, including blogs, landing pages, emails, and paid ads.
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and ActiveCampaign systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support campaign objectives and marketing initiatives.
  • Manage paid advertising campaigns (e.g. Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads) to meet lead generation and brand visibility targets.
  • Assist in the development of marketing automation workflows and email marketing strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in digital marketing.
  • Support the delivery of marketing campaigns to ensure consistency and high-quality output across all digital touchpoints.
Experience and Skills
  • Essential: 1–3 years experience in a digital marketing or marketing assistant role
  • A good understanding of digital platforms, including websites, email marketing, and social media
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress
  • Strong written communication and organisational skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to manage time effectively and juggle multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Desirable: Experience using Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, or other web analytics tools
  • Exposure to SEO practices, including keyword research and on-page optimisation
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g. Buffer)
  • Basic understanding of paid digital advertising (e.g. Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
  • Experience with CRM or email marketing platforms (e.g. ActiveCampaign, Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Design or editing skills using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar

Education/Qualifications/Specific training
  • Essential: A degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field
  • OR relevant work experience in a digital marketing role (1–3 years), demonstrating a solid understanding of digital marketing principles
  • Evidence of continued professional development (e.g. online courses, certifications, or workshops)
  • Desirable: Google Analytics or Google Ads Certification
  • CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) or IDM qualifications
  • SEO or digital advertising course completion (e.g. via LinkedIn Learning, Coursera, etc.)
