For the purposes of advertising, this role has been advertised across multiple locations; however, there is only 1 role.

About the role

Are you experienced in developing digital learning solutions to support training? We have an opportunity to join the Academy team to maintain online and blended learning as part of the Academy Delivery Plan.

To support the development of the Academy Delivery Plan, you’ll manage training projects whilst collaborating with stakeholders to design effective digital and blended learning experiences. This includes using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Copilot to enhance learning content creation.

You’ll act as a trusted partner, providing well-researched advice on the most effective learning methods, tailored to meet defined learning outcomes. Your guidance will ensure colleagues are fully competent in their roles, while constructively challenging ideas to achieve the best possible learning solutions.

Developing confidence and ease in using learning technologies is key, as you’ll support teams to build confidence, making them a natural part of how they learn and work. Therefore, building trust through easy-to-understand communication is essential.

About you

If you have experience creating impactful learning content within a fast-paced environment, then we want to hear from you.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in instructional design, including collaboration with stakeholders to create storyboards for engaging digital learning.

You’ll be skilled in partnering with business managers to design online training using platforms such as Articulate, Captivate, or Gomo, with the capability to create mobile-ready bite-sized learning. Through implementing effective evaluation methods, you’ll measure learning outcomes and competence to ensure high-quality, impactful learning content.

Experience creating immersive experiences using Virtual and Augmented Reality technologies is key. This means you’ll be experienced working in highly technical environments, using your understanding of the full learning cycle, managing projects from concept to completion.

Experience in an L&D role within the Utilities or Engineering sector would be highly beneficial, as you’ll provide insight into learning needs unique to these environments.

Interviews will take place online/in person on 5th June.
