A legal learning company in Sheffield is seeking a Digital Learning Apprentice to create engaging e-learning courses. You will work collaboratively, manage projects, and receive training in e-learning software. This full-time position offers a chance to grow in Learning & Development with a structured apprenticeship lasting 18–24 months.

Qualifications

  • No prior experience with e-learning software required; training will be provided.
  • Prior experience in learning and development is advantageous, but not required.
  • Prior experience working in a legal setting is advantageous, but not required.

Overview

Embark on an exciting journey as a Digital Learning Apprentice in the legal sector. For over 25 years Kinch Robinson has been providing learning and development for law firms and the insurance sector. We are looking for an apprentice to join our small and supportive team. You will work with other colleagues to turn e-learning scripts into engaging courses and resources. 20% of your time will be dedicated to apprenticeship training and development. The apprenticeship will take 18–24 months to complete. This role provides a great opportunity to start a rewarding career in Learning & Development.

Responsibilities
  • Become proficient in using specialist software to build high quality course content, including Articulate 360, Synthesia, Play.ht
  • Work in collaboration with the team to design and build course content
  • Follow style guidelines and ensure consistent use of templates, fonts etc.
  • Become proficient in using our Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Support IT manager with user support on LMS
  • Demonstrate very good attention to detail to ensure content is free from errors
  • Ensure accessibility requirements are consistently followed
  • Display strong grammar and punctuation skills
  • Exhibit strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Take responsibility for project management and ensure tasks are completed on time
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills both in person and in writing
  • Contribute creative ideas

Skills & Experience

  • Office based (travel required)
  • The role is full time with 4 days in the office (or 5 if preferred)
  • 1 day per week dedicated to apprenticeship training can be worked from home
Training

Training for this qualification will be provided by ourselves at SCCU Group, an Ofsted good training provider. Our tuition is all delivered in the workplace and bespoke to your particular role.

Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm.
