Digital Insights Analyst

The Digital Insights Analyst will join the Digital Marketing Team, which is part of the wider Communications team. The team is responsible for Sanctuary's websites, making sure they're accessible and performing as they should, as well as driving traffic to the sites through e-marketing and PPC campaigns across our multiple brands.

The Digital Insights Analyst is a new role in the team, leading on our approach to analytics and digital insights. You’ll be responsible for managing our GA4 and Google Tag Manager accounts, working across a variety of websites, and ensuring the reporting needs of marketing teams are met. You will use customer insight to drive change and improvements, analyse content performance and create meaningful dashboards to present data.

The role of Data Insights Analyst will include:

  • Leading on the development and management of Google Analytics (GA4) dashboards, establishing a regular reporting pattern and making recommendations to both improve the customer experience and support marketing teams with their objectives
  • Developing relationships with colleagues across Sanctuary to gain an in-depth understanding of our business areas
  • Developing high-quality analysis related to understanding website performance, customer behaviour, market trends, and broader digital insight requirements, creating relevant dashboards using tools including Power BI
  • Analysing content performance to make recommendations to improve the customer experience
  • Managing third party marketing tagging and tracking across Sanctuary's websites

Skills and experiences:

  • Degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification or knowledge and ability at an equivalent level (preferably in Marketing)
  • Thorough working knowledge of marketing, design and social media
  • Comprehensive knowledge of GDPR, accessibility and data compliance/laws
  • Comprehensive experience of user insights and leveraging these for customer benefit
  • Proven experience of stakeholder management and working across multiple business areas
