Job summary

West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Band 6 ICT Project Manager to support a range of IT projects within the ICT Department. You will lead projects from initiation to delivery and work with multi-disciplinary teams to implement цифров health initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience managing IT-related projects within a healthcare/NHS setting.

• Understanding of NHS structures and governance.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initiation to delivery.
• Establish milestones and plans with ICT Programme Manager, other PMs and sponsor.
• Plan cross-clinical and non-clinical projects; e.g. new systems, infrastructure, information systems.
• Handle user requests within the specified time.
• Oversee installation, configuration and management of IT hardware/software within timelines.
• Contribute to hospital developments in Watford, St Albans and Hemel Hempstead projects.
• Support digital healthcare advances; innovate to improve patient care.
• Ensure documentation including budgets, minutes, issues reports, status reports and cost reports.
• Persuade project boards and staff of project importance; negotiate priorities with non-ICT managers.
• Develop empathy with clinical staff to gain support for IT initiatives.
