Job summary

BMC Recruitment Group Ltd is partnering with a high-growth digital agency to appoint an experienced Head of Organic Search/Digital Director. This senior role leads a multidisciplinary team spanning SEO strategy, technical SEO, content and digital PR, owning the function's P&L and driving growth and profitability.

Reporting to the executive leadership team, you will develop people, scale services, and shape client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Own departmental P&L and forecast performance.
• Lead managers across SEO, content and digital PR.
• Forecast performance and identify risks and opportunities.
• Implement scalable processes and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the department's P&L, including revenue, profitability and utilisation targets.
• Forecast performance accurately and proactively identify opportunities and risks.
• Drive sustainable growth while maintaining high service standards.
• Lead and develop a management team across SEO, content and digital PR.
• Set objectives, performance measures and development plans.
• Foster a high-performance culture with collaboration and accountability.
• Plan recruitment to meet growth and utilise freelance support.
• Drive operational efficiency and scalability across the team.
• Champion best practices and ensure consistent delivery across accounts.
• Act as senior stakeholder across key client relationships and support strategic growth.
• Contribute to proposals, scoping and pricing for new business.
