Job summary

CCL Solutions Group in Stratford-upon-Avon seeks a Digital Forensics Laboratory Team Leader to manage and coach a team of DF Analysts, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and customer-focused service. You will supervise performance, allocate casework, and maintain ISO processes while resolving technical challenges with line management.

The role requires leadership experience in digital forensics, familiarity with ACPO guidelines and ISO17025, and the ability to drive improvements and staff development

Qualifications

• Experience leading in digital forensics environments.
• Knowledge of ACPO guidelines, ISO17025 and the FSR Code of Practice.
• Ability to motivate, inspire and lead people to reach potential.
• Experience using leading industry standard forensic tools.
• Ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
• Strong analytical and interpretive skills.
• High precision and attention to detail.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Comfortable learning a wide range of software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Analysts across technical, performance, behaviours and welfare.
• Assign casework via the case management system and manage deadlines.
• Communicate with Operations Managers and Forensic Case Team to resolve challenges.
• Ensure the Laboratory uses appropriate hardware and software for casework.
• Maintain ISO processes & documentation and assist with audits.
• Develop staff growth opportunities and foster a positive work environment.
• Identify inefficiencies and drive improvements with evidence.
• Manage performance issues per company policies and procedures.
• Provide effective leadership and report team performance to management.
• Contribute to Lab performance while handling a small case load.
• Support new team leaders.
