Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking a Consultant in Digital Forensics & Investigations in London. You will join a growing team delivering forensic solutions for a broad client base and will handle evidence acquisition, analysis and reporting under supervision, with opportunities to travel.

Ideal candidates are graduates in forensic computing or related fields, with experience or strong interest in digital forensics, data handling, and client-facing work.

Qualifications

• University graduate/final year student who can work full-time from 6th September 2027.
• Minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent in forensic computing or related subject, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with forensic principles and technologies.
• A keen interest in forensic practices and protocols.
• Familiarity with mobile device, cloud and personal computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire digital evidence to forensic standards, on-site at client premises around the UK and abroad.
• Utilise industry standard and bespoke software to access, extract and handle data from mobile devices, computers, servers and cloud sources.
• Perform forensic analysis and reporting for a wide range of data sources under supervision of senior staff.
• Liaise with clients and senior staff to manage work and expectations.
• Research and develop custom solutions applied to client needs.
• Be service-oriented to meet deadlines, including out of hours when necessary.
• Travel as required, potentially on short notice.
