Job summary

FTI Consulting LLP is seeking a graduate to join its Digital Forensics & Investigations team within the Technology practice. You will identify and acquire digital evidence to forensic standards, work on data from mobile devices to cloud sources, and perform analyses under supervision.

You will liaise with clients and senior staff, develop custom solutions, and travel as required to client sites, including abroad, with opportunities to grow professionally through training and diverse assignments.

Qualifications

• University graduate or final year student who can work full-time from Sept 2027.
• Minimum 2:1 degree in forensic computing or related field.
• Familiarity with forensic principles and technologies.
• Keen interest in forensic practices and protocols.
• Experience in digital forensics or related role or university project.
• Knowledge of forensic imaging and analysis tools (Encase, Cellebrite, X-Ways).
• Ability to handle data using Excel, MS Access, SQL and other tools.
• Knowledge of programming or scripting (Python, Java, C#, Visual Basic, PowerShell).
• Enthusiasm for technology and transfer of knowledge across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire digital evidence to forensic standards, on-site at client premises in the UK and abroad.
• Utilise software to access, extract and handle data from mobile devices, computers, servers and cloud sources.
• Perform forensic analysis and reporting for a wide range of data sources under supervision.
• Liaise with clients and senior staff to manage work.
• Research and develop custom solutions for client needs.
• Meet client deadlines, including after-hours when necessary.
• Travel as required, potentially with short notice.
