What you'll be doing

• Run code reviews, collaborate with the development team, review deliverables, and continuously improve development processes with other Tech Leads.
• Work with project managers to oversee technical delivery, including scoping, architecture, and implementation for various clients.
• Manage a team of developers, with potential travel to Europe for team collaboration.
• Support the QA team to enhance testing processes and promote automation throughout the product lifecycle.
• Coach and support developers and project teams.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring quality standards and experience are maintained.
• Implement and improve quality engineering standards in collaboration with the CTO.
• Utilize advanced DevOps practices for deployment and automated testing.

Qualities we look for in candidates

The ideal Laravel Tech Lead will possess strong technical expertise along with excellent interpersonal and coaching skills. You should be able to effectively communicate ideas and solutions internally and with clients, demonstrating a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences and reliable applications.

You will need to align requirements with budgets and business constraints, leading your team to deliver stable, scalable, and secure solutions once architecture is approved.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience delivering robust solutions within multidisciplinary teams
• Expertise with the Laravel framework and its ecosystem
• Experience with modern front-end technologies
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React)
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and deployment pipelines
• Proficiency with Git and systematic deployment processes
• Ability to write and mentor others in automated testing
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns
• Ability to create delivery plans, estimate tasks, and define user stories
• Hands-on problem-solving skills
• Excellent client communication and relationship management skills
• Experience mentoring and managing development teams
• Passion for coding, design, and web services development
