Overview of our role

Are you passionate about enabling seamless digital project delivery? We’re looking for a Digital Environment Manager to take the lead in coordinating and optimising our technical non-production environments.

In this role, you will ensure that project teams have access to the right technical environments without conflicts, helping them achieve their goals efficiently. You’ll be responsible for scheduling and managing environment bookings, providing guidance on usage, and working closely with technical and operational teams to support environment builds.

Your ability to foster collaboration will be key as you work with project teams, technical experts, and stakeholders across Digital to ensure smooth environment access and utilisation. You’ll also play a key role in tracking performance, reviewing requirements, and managing capacity to support successful project outcomes.

With a strong focus on communication, you will help showcase the value Digital brings to Jemena, ensuring visibility through reporting and contributing to the Delivery Services Dashboard.

A little about you
  • Proven experience developing and implementing Environment management processes and templates.
  • Proven experience in influencing and motivating others within a matrix environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver time-critical work under broad direction, in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, with an ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Expert skills in MS Office toolset – specifically Excel, Power BI & Power Apps; SNOW.
Qualifications / certifications & Skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project / Technical management or a related field.
  • Experience in managing a complex, highly changing technical environment.
  • Superior interpersonal skills, with an ability to influence stakeholders at a range of levels – including c-suite executives.
  • Proven analysis, written and oral communication.
  • An ability to understand complex technical information and interpret it for a range of audiences.
  • Agile & Waterfall Delivery Method, DevOps, ITIL.
