Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Digital Engineering Technical Architect to ensure practical, scalable technical design aligned to Siemens best practice for complex engineering environments. You will translate business needs into Teamcenter/NX designs and bridge between consultants, SMEs and developers.

The role requires hands-on Teamcenter and NX configuration knowledge, BMIDE, workflows, and reporting. It’s a hybrid UK role with travel, emphasizing sound design decisions and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and implementing Siemens Teamcenter and NX solutions in complex engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Understanding PLM/CAD platforms and lifecycle processes including configuration and change management.
• Hands-on knowledge of Teamcenter configuration and architecture, BMIDE, workflow designer, access management, and reporting.
• Experience producing technical design documents and build guidance for configurators or developers.

Responsibilities

• Translate client business processes, engineering requirements and specifications into detailed Siemens Teamcenter and/or NX designs.
• Bridge between process consultants, analysts, solution architects, client SMEs, configurators and developers.
• Design Teamcenter components such as BMIDE data models, item types, properties, relations, workflows and reports.
• Design NX configurations, including CAD data management behaviors and integration with Teamcenter.
