Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Senior Engineer to objectively design, lead and deliver work packages that demonstrate how advanced digital engineering tools can accelerate product development while delivering measurable business outcomes.

You will bring deep expertise in Siemens NX and Teamcenter and the ability to configure and deploy these tools to transform engineering workflows. The role requires travel to Barrow-in-Furness every 3 days fortnight as part of a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Mechanical design engineering experience or related (e.g., electrical).
• Advanced Siemens NX CAD software expertise.
• PLM tools knowledge with Teamcenter.
• Siemens Capital experience desirable but not essential.
• Digital engineering transformation and systems integration techniques.
• Tool configuration and engineering workflow performance optimization.
• Data management and digital thread implementation.
• Experience across Engineering and Manufacturing including NX, TC, ERP, MES.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver design engineering solutions for defence projects.
• Strategically configure and deploy Siemens NX and Teamcenter to transform workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve engineering processes.
