Job summary

Nicholas Howard Ltd are recruiting a Configuration Analyst to work with our engineering team and apply Configuration Management principles across design and production to maintain the integrity of complex projects.

You will contribute to change control, baselining, and digital engineering initiatives, collaborating with engineers to deliver robust CM processes and reports. Eligibility for UK SC Clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Experience as a Configuration Management Engineer or similar role in an engineering environment.
• Knowledge of Configuration Management principles, processes, and standards.
• Familiarity with Configuration Management tools and PLM system.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Applying Configuration Management principles, processes, and tools.
• Analysing proposed product design changes for their impact on the overall product and system
• Supporting the establishment and maintenance of configuration baselines
• Contributing to change control processes.
• Preparing reports detailing the effect of changes on the overall product
• Reviewing and analysing released engineering change data, and ensuring compliance with configuration management policies
• Collaborating with various teams working closely with experienced engineers.
