We are seeking a digital engineering/BIM specialist to join our dynamic building services engineering team. You will work on challenging, high-profile projects in sectors like workplace, healthcare, education, historic buildings, sport, leisure, and sci-tech.

About you

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with large, complex BIM models in building services engineering.

Responsibilities include facilitating our engineering team in Digital Engineering integration, managing multiple BIM models, attending BIM meetings, mentoring less experienced Revit users, trainees, and apprentices.

You will support our Digital Engineering Leads in developing and implementing BDP’s Digital Engineering and BIM strategy and deploying advanced engineering modelling and simulation methods.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is passionate about Digital Engineering, BIM, and innovation,
  • has experience with projects in a BIM environment, especially using Revit,
  • knows about advanced BIM technology and programming (Dynamo, Python),
  • enjoys teamwork and is self-organized,
  • has experience in BIM project creation, model auditing, and coordination of MEP services,
  • can communicate effectively at all levels,
  • can clearly explain Digital Engineering and BIM concepts to clients, contractors, and team members, ensuring proper coordination.
