The University of Leeds seeks a Digital Education Officer to enhance and maintain innovative online courses. This hybrid role involves course development and administration, focusing on accessibility and engaging learning experiences. The successful candidate will collaborate with academic partners and students, contributing to quality online education and professional development.
This role will be based on the University campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
In the Digital Education Service, we enable the University’s 10-year strategy for the growth of fully online education, through the provision of specialist online learning design, development, and delivery expertise. Our focus is on engaging, accessible, and inclusive learning experiences, underpinned by innovative digital pedagogies and technologies. We work collaboratively with academic partners, learners, and across our teams through an evidence-based, solutions-focused, design-led approach.
As a Digital Education Officer in the Online Learning Team, you will support the development and maintenance of innovative, inclusive, and impactful online courses on external and internal platforms.
This varied role involves both course development and course support functions. In course development, you will apply and enhance your skills in virtual learning environments, rapid authoring tools, document creation, instructional design, pedagogy, copyright, and accessibility.
In course support, you will contribute to effective course administration and operational processes, ensuring quality standards and continuous improvement.
