Job description

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for the role of Digital Education Content Designer. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the digital transformation of healthcare services.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality digital content that supports the implementation of the new Nervecentre digital system for the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) as part of the digital transformation programme. The role involves designing engaging eLearning materials using platforms like Articulate 360, ensuring content meets accessibility standards, and collaborating with clinical staff and subject matter experts to develop effective training modules.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Create, design, and develop interactive digital learning content for clinical systems.
2. Ensure content complies with digital accessibility guidelines.
3. Implement engaging interactive elements such as simulations and videos.
4. Revise and maintain existing eLearning materials following system updates.
5. Support the design and configuration of eLearning modules within the Trust’s Learning Management System.
6. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to produce dynamic training content.
7. Test and quality assure all eLearning materials.
8. Participate in training workstream meetings and liaise with stakeholders.
9. Produce supporting documentation such as user guides and training scripts.
