A leading academic publishing company is seeking a Digital Editor for their Medicine and Health team. The role involves managing content production and community engagement for BioTechniques. We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Editor to join the Medicine and Health team working on our Digital Hubs.
Reporting to the Senior Editor, in this role you will support content production, development and promotion on BioTechniques. As Digital Editor you will assist with the management of our online resources on a day-to-day basis, working across a range of different editorial and client projects. You will have responsibility for ensuring the quality and consistency of the content produced and commissioned, as well as writing news, interviews and producing other multimedia content.
In this role you will deploy and develop content management, communication and editorial skills. Key responsibilities include: editing, writing, commissioning and posting of news, articles and interviews; social media and CMS management; and supporting the Senior Editor where required across projects and marketing activities.
You will also work with the entire Digital team to share best practice in content and community management, sharing ideas for development and problem-solving.
