Job summary

Aviva plc is seeking a Head of Digital Delivery in London, Bristol, or Norwich. You will lead a portfolio of digital and technical initiatives, shaping delivery strategy and driving consistent, efficient outcomes.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and a track record of transforming delivery in large organisations. You’ll work across Markets, Technology, Product, Architecture and Marketing to remove barriers, manage risks, and mature delivery capability, embedding agile

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large-scale technology delivery functions within large organisations.
• Strong understanding of modern delivery practices including Agile, governance and continuous improvement.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills across business, technology and exec teams.
• Experience leading organisational and cultural change to build high-performing teams.
• Strong strategic thinking and commercial awareness; PM/Agile qualifications advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a broad portfolio of digital initiatives, ensuring products meet customer needs and align to Aviva's priorities.
• Oversee planning, sequencing and execution across multiple programmes, managing dependencies and risks.
• Drive delivery capability through agile practices, transparency, metrics and reporting.
• Develop talent and build high-performing teams through coaching and leadership.
• Collaborate with Markets, Technology, Product, Architecture and Marketing to enable successful delivery.
