We are seeking a talented Data Integrator to join our growing team of data experts.

As a Data Integrator at Sappi, you will be at the forefront of transforming raw manufacturing data into valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making. Your expertise will contribute to developing and continuously improving digital twins, forming the foundation for advanced analytics projects.

We are expanding our manufacturing data integration team to meet worldwide demands for a growing portfolio of new and exciting projects covering all manufacturing processes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional process and industry experts to understand data relationships and develop data collection, contextualization, and integrity checks necessary for Digital Twins.
  • Manage all aspects of data acquisition and enrichment within the Advanced Analytics platform, ensuring governance and standards for:
    • Data source connectivity
    • Data streaming and transformation
    • Data quality, availability, and security
  • Continuously monitor and improve Digital Twin data integrity and quality.
  • Work with the data science team to deploy data science solutions within the digital twin environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • University degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Strong programming and database experience using current software development practices.
  • 5+ years of experience with Java, Python, SQL; OSI PI and/or Braincube knowledge is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving and consulting skills with the ability to communicate effectively in an international industrial environment.
  • Innovative mindset, service-oriented, and results-driven.
  • A passion for engaging, uplifting, and sharing knowledge within the Sappi advanced analytics community.
