Citizens Advice SORT is seeking a Digital, Data and Innovation Manager to lead a small but growing tech and innovation team. The role covers IT support across Stockport, Oldham, Rochdale and Trafford, with responsibility for cyber security and a team of three.

It’s an opportunity to apply IT experience to tech-for-good in a supportive, mission-driven environment. The role emphasizes strengthening IT systems, data and digital innovation within a charitable context, with a collaborative team

Competenze

• Experience in IT management or team leadership preferred.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices is advantageous.

• Run IT support across Stockport, Oldham, Rochdale and Trafford.

About the role

We're looking for a Digital, Data and Innovation Manager at Citizens Advice SORT, to join a small but growing tech and innovation team.

IT in the charity sector is underrated as a career, I think. Most of the tech for good conversation is about building new things, and the people keeping laptops working and the case system online don't get much of a mention. But an adviser can't help anyone while they're locked out of their account, so it's fairly fundamental to the whole thing.

The job itself: running IT support across Stockport, Oldham, Rochdale and Trafford, managing three people, and looking after our cyber security.
