Job summary

BDO UK’s Advisory team seeks a Cyber Manager to deliver high‑quality client cyber risk engagements. You’ll support risk management methodologies aligned to frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS, and mentor a growing team across projects.

You’ll combine strong technical expertise with stakeholder management to help financial sector clients navigate evolving technology risks while driving improvements. A consulting background and regulatory knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Cyber Security and Information Security.
• Knowledge of cyber security frameworks including ISO27001/27002, NIST, CIS Controls.
• Previous consulting, advisory or professional services experience.
• Experience leading small teams and coordinating with Senior Managers and Directors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality client cyber risk engagements.
• Support risk management methodologies aligned to recognized frameworks.
• Mentor and develop junior team members and grow the practice.
• Balance technical work with stakeholder management across client projects.
