LGC Standards is looking for a Digital Customer Growth Lead to take charge of our Paid Search (PPC) strategy, budget, and performance, ensuring we maximise ROI and customer acquisition globally. This is a key role where you’ll collaborate across teams to optimise digital marketing pipelines, enhance conversion rates, and drive sustainable business growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and execute digital customer growth strategies across platforms
  • Develop, implement, and optimise PPC campaigns to maximise performance
  • Manage budgets, vendors, and data to drive measurable success
  • Identify conversion barriers in the eCommerce journey and implement solutions
  • Stay ahead of trends in digital marketing, UX, and CRO to enhance user experience
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive an industry-leading customer experience

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, focusing on PPC and eCommerce optimisation
  • Proven success in B2B digital acquisition and growth strategies
  • Expert-level skills in Google Ads, Analytics & Optimise
  • Experience of managing a PPC agency.
  • Advantageous to have agency experience.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights
  • Hands-on experience with CRO, SEO, UX, and personalisation
  • Knowledge of global PPC strategies, particularly in the USA and China, is a plus
  • A team player with excellent communication skills and a digital-first mindset

Technical skills

  • Digital and ecommerce technical expert with experience in SEO, PPC, digital acquisition, experience design, user strategy, user journeys, global regulations, accessibility, and product discoverability and differentiation
  • Expert level experience with Google Ads, Analytics & Optimise
  • Expert understanding of eCommerce optimisation and CRO principles and methodologies
  • Experience with global PPC strategies, specifically USA and China, a plus
  • Experience of Agile Scrum and Confluence tool is a plus
  • Understanding of website technologies and an awareness of website development and coding is a plus

Essential competencies and behaviour

  • Strong business acumen with a customer-first digital-first mindset and the skills to be hands-on and operational
  • Track record of producing high-quality work and meeting deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; team motivator and influencer at all levels
  • Fluency in English is a must, multilingual abilities are a plus
  • Willing and able to stay curious and adapt quickly to changing commercial realities
