Job summary

The University of Derby is seeking an experienced Digital Creative Developer & Designer to join its External Relations team. You will support design across social, web, print and email campaigns, delivering integrated, user‑focused creative.

A specialist in designing and building high‑quality, responsive HTML email templates using tables and inline CSS, you will work with email platforms such as Dotdigital. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building responsive HTML email templates.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Ability to deliver high‑quality creative across social, web and print channels.
• Strong collaboration with Design, Content and Recruitment teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver print and digital assets across campaigns.
• Build reusable, modular HTML email templates with inline CSS.
• QA, testing and accessibility compliance for email output.
• Lead email creative development and manage output within the brand guidelines.
• Support university events with timely, creative digital assets.
