Job summary

Parkside is seeking a Content Assistant to join its busy E-commerce and Marketing team. The role focuses on digital content, SEO, and AI-enabled optimisation to support organic traffic and online sales.

You will create, edit and optimise content across websites, emails, brochures and third-party platforms, working closely with Marketing and E-commerce teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• English Literature degree from a UK university is essential.
• Excellent written English with strong grammar and tone.
• Interest in content writing and digital marketing.
• Understanding of SEO and how search engines use content.
• Knowledge of meta titles, meta descriptions, keywords and on-page SEO.
• Awareness of how AI tools can be used in content creation and SEO.
• Ability to research information and turn it into engaging content.
• Attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic analytics tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit engaging website, product, blog and promotional content.
• Upload and maintain product listings across websites and third-party marketplaces.
• Write and optimise product descriptions, landing pages and other digital content.
• Apply SEO principles to digital content, including keyword research and meta data.
• Support the creation and management of blog content.
• Work with external agencies on SEO and site optimisation.
• Use analytics to understand content performance and identify opportunities.
