Now, we're looking for a Digital Content Strategist to bring fresh ideas, digital expertise, and audience-first thinking to our celebrated Farmers Weekly portfolio.

Enjoy the best of both worlds with our hybrid model, three days a week in our Sutton (Greater London) office, fostering connection and creativity. The salary is up to £40,000 (DOE) plus company benefits.

What We Offer

  • Professional growth, career development, training, and mentorship through our MAG Mentorship programme.
  • A creative, collaborative space to share ideas and craft strategies that engage new and existing customers.
  • Supportive community. Connect with peers across our networking groups and cross-team projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy & Experimentation
  • Lead a programme of content experiments designed to grow engagement among key demographics. Collaborate with editorial, product and data teams to test formats, topics, and delivery methods (e.g., web, app, email, social). Use experiment outcomes to shape our ongoing online content strategy.
  • Audience-Led Content Curation/Creation
  • Define content needs and curate daily/weekly experiences for priority personas (e.g., contractors, agronomists). Collaborate with content teams to shape collections, features, and regular digest-style outputs. Work closely with editors to select, package and promote content in ways that maximise relevance and stickiness. Support social media and web production functions by sourcing/producing feed content and carrying out quality control checks as required.
  • Quality Assurance & Workflow Design
  • Design and maintain a streamlined QA process to ensure high standards across all online content. Work with the editor to set clear content guidelines and performance expectations for editorial teams. Reduce individual bottlenecks by embedding quality into scalable process

  • A digital content professional who is confident running content experiments, analysing outcomes, and applying insights.
  • A strong editorial eye with proven experience curating content journeys and packaging editorial in ways that build engagement and loyalty.
  • Someone who understands audience needs, from contractors to agronomists, and is eager to serve them with relevant, high-quality digital experiences.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, working across teams to test content formats, streamline workflows, and ensure high editorial standards.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational ability, and the creativity to experiment and refine.
