Digital Content Manager

8 Month FTC (Maternity Cover)

This leading B2B company with significant backing and the potential to expand is looking for a Digital Content Manager. This is a maternity cover reporting into the Marketing Communications Director. The role will suit someone with good experience in digital content, with proven delivery across a range of platforms. Your content will help engage and build brand trust to increase web traffic, social media engagement and brand awareness through impactful content. This role will be responsible for creating "shareable" content, distributing content on the appropriate platforms and measuring the results of marketing activity. It requires someone who is experienced in managing a range of digital assets, including websites, digital and email campaigns, social media and SEO.

You will be part of a small, fast-moving and collegiate marketing, communications and community team, which is rapidly expanding to promote the network locally, regionally, nationally and globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage our websites, emails and HTMLs, apps and social media accounts
  • Work with team members to write, edit and design and deliver content that engages, educates and inspires across the social media calendar
  • Day to day management of key social media accounts, responding to messages and comments whilst relaying interesting opportunities to the team
  • Manage and maintain company websites, producing regular content for the blog and updating pages when needed
  • Develop and deliver a portfolio of multi-media content for different audiences – often drafting in and working with external team members or agencies e.g. designers
  • Produce a brilliant quarterly email newsletter and continue to extend our readership
  • Support production of campaign materials, such as flyers, brochures and conference signage
  • Manage SEO and digital advertising agency to boost traffic to all sites
  • Regular reporting on key metrics/findings to benchmark performance and be able to analyse qualitative data, costs, ROI and brand benefits

Person Specification

  • Good experience in managing and growing websites and social media accounts.
  • Strong writing, photography and video editing skills - a brilliant storyteller with creative experience, great attention to detail and a keen eye for design – a bit of an all-rounder
  • Experience with relevant digital and organisational tools – Trello, Later.com, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Google Analytics, Adobe Photoshop etc
  • Experience with Wordpress and Hubspot would be preferable
  • Basic technical knowledge and experience with website management and publishing
  • Basic knowledge of SEO, web traffic metrics and paid social media advertising
