Digital Content Lead

Student Wellbeing Services

Location: Bailrigg, Lancaster, UK

Salary: £33,002 to £39,906 full time, fixed term

Location note: Lancaster. Open to flexible working arrangements (e.g., flexible start/finish times and blended remote/office working; typically four days on campus, one day working from home if desired).

Are you passionate about digital innovation and transformation and looking for an opportunity to use your skills and experience to deliver a high quality digital experience for students at Lancaster University?

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, improvement and management of the online ASK digital student information service, delivered through the student online Portal and iLancaster (the University’s dedicated mobile app).
  • Support stakeholders across the university to develop digital content and manage content quality standards.
  • Define guidance and deliver training for use of the online ASK in the Portal and iLancaster services.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for local content editors across professional services divisions, faculties, academic departments and the Students’ Union.
  • Establish productive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Exceptional digital, technical and organisational skills.

  • This post is offered on a fixed-term basis for 6 months in the first instance.
