We’re looking for a trend-driven and strategic Digital Content Editor to join the Digital Editorial team at Primark. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll create reactive fashion content that supports our trading strategy and strengthens our position in the fashion space — both online and on the high street.

This role combines creativity with commercial awareness. You’ll create on-brand, trend-led content that responds to current fashion trends and develop SEO-optimized editorial to drive organic traffic and support customer acquisition goals.

What You’ll Do
  • Create quick-turnaround editorial content aligned with fashion trends and key trading moments.
  • Focus on Click + Collect content to boost conversion rates, and track content performance with analytics support.
  • Use insight tools and competitor analysis to identify reactive content opportunities that increase engagement and sales.
  • Write and optimize SEO-led articles to enhance Primark’s ranking for high-value non-branded search terms.
  • Contribute to the Click + Collect content strategy, creating content that drives conversions.
  • Monitor and report on content performance, using insights for future content planning.
  • Collaborate with digital trading and product teams on launches, seasonal focuses, and collection drops.
  • Partner with the SEO team to refine keyword strategies and incorporate SEO content into the editorial calendar.
  • Support editorial planning and pitch new article formats and seasonal features.
  • Mentor junior writers to ensure consistent tone and quality.
  • Coordinate with international teams to align on cultural moments and campaigns.
  • Maintain consistency in tone, style, and visual storytelling across platforms, working with Brand and Marketing teams.
What You’ll Bring
  • 3–5 years' experience in digital content writing/editing, preferably in fashion or lifestyle.
  • Strong understanding of SEO and proven ability to create high-ranking content.
  • Excellent editorial instincts and trend-spotting skills.
  • Engaging writing style aligned with Primark’s brand tone and customer preferences.
  • Basic digital analytics knowledge.
  • Collaborative and flexible approach, comfortable working independently or in teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proactive mindset, eager to pitch ideas and use data creatively.
  • Ability to give editorial feedback and mentor junior staff.
