    This role is based in Blackfriars, London and is a 12 month contract

    Working alongside experienced event production and content marketing teams, you will be given creative freedom across a portfolio (banking, wealth and investment management) to create and curate compelling content designed to drive forward our year-round content and audience engagement strategy.

    You will work with the product and marketing team to design a holistic video marketing campaign that drives engagement across our brands. You will also work with a network of experts in your portfolio and launch new content types to showcase the insights and knowledge pooled from the industry. Through inspiring video content, you’ll bring together ideas and thought leadership our audience cares about and will return to our platforms time and again for.

    You’ll also take a leading role in supporting our commercial partners with bespoke content marketing services campaigns, including assisting with topic recommendations, developing audience, and guiding the content to ensure high-quality output in-keeping with our brands’ reputation and identity.

    Responsibilities:

    • You will be the creator and curator of world class content, contributing to the development and execution of a year-round content plan for the portfolio.
    • You will be responsible for developing an engaged community by producing powerful “made for digital” content – your work will act as stream of regular video or audio segments, published on our YouTube channels and/or Streamly
    • You will work collaboratively with the content marketing team to ensure effective distribution of your content, and consistent growth of traffic and audiences to your content
    • You will help develop the strategy for marketing services sponsorship and digital audience acquisition and engagement and help drive growth in digital content revenue streams for the portfolio
    • You will be attuned to the performance of your content through data analytics to develop a deep understanding of trends and top performing content, with the aims of optimising your strategy and providing insights to the wider business for new digital growth opportunities
    • Skills and Experience required:

      • Ability to contribute content ideas and topics, and have an interest in digital media for content creation (webinars, podcasts, video series, social channels etc.)
      • Ability to create and nurture working relationships with experts in the industry, and utilise connections to inform and elevate content
      • Ability to research complex topics and conduct interviews/ moderate webinars/ and write engaging copy for specific audience types around hot topics
      • 2+ years’ experience of conference or content production in a conference or publication business
      • Proven experience of validating, researching and writing new content (conferences or journalistic) for digital consumption would be a plus
      • Online content skills, including SEO and familiarity with web content management systems (Wordpress), SEO principles, and digital analytics software would be a plus
      • Must have exceptional written communication and proven copy and content writing skills in English
      • Experience of working independently on projects
      • Multi-lingual language skills are an advantage
      • Design skills and familiarity with Photoshop and Premiere Pro are an advantage
      • Digital savvy and digital first mindset
      • Broad and lateral thinker. Innovative and ‘outside in’ perspective
      • Experience in video production is preferred, but we offer intensive training and coaching for outstanding candidates who wish to move into this career
