Are you an emerging digital creative with a knack for video editing, animation, and social media content and a passion for digital storytelling? Dizplai is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Digital Content Creator to join our dynamic marketing team in Manchester. This is an incredible opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects, produce engaging content for global audiences, and accelerate your career in a fast-paced, innovative media tech environment.

Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you'll be instrumental in crafting compelling video content across various digital platforms, helping us connect with and grow our vibrant communities.

Please note, this is a video editing and social content creator role. We care more about what you can do than the experience you have, so you MUST submit a portfolio for your application to be considered.

About Dizplai

You might not know our name, but if you've ever felt part of the action while watching your favourite sports, engaging with a social media creator, or cheering on your Premier League club, chances are you've experienced Dizplai.

Dizplai is a media experience company that transforms passive audiences into active, engaged communities across sports, social media, and more. We specialise in creating interactive experiences that bridge the gap between viewers and creators, driving real commercial value for our clients.

We're a passionate team of developers, designers, creatives, marketers, and product managers, united by a culture of transparency, diversity, and experimentation. We're driven by humanising content and media experiences.

What You’ll do

  • Video Creation and Editing: Conceptualise, shoot, edit, and deliver engaging short-form video content for all our social media channels (e.g., TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn) and assist the Marketing Department in Graphic Design for Marketing purposes.
  • Motion Graphics & Animation: Design and produce dynamic animations and motion graphics to enhance our marketing campaigns, explainer videos, and brand storytelling.
  • Marketing Video Production Support: Assist with various aspects of video production, from basic filming and lighting setup to editing longer-form content, interviews, and promotional materials.
  • Podcast Production: Support the end-to-end production of internal podcasts, including audio editing, sound design, and preparing episodes for publishing.
  • Content Strategy & Brainstorming: Actively participate in creative brainstorming sessions with the marketing team, bringing fresh ideas to the table for new content series and campaigns.
  • Asset Management: Help maintain and organise our growing library of video, audio, and graphic assets, ensuring easy accessibility for the team.
  • Trends & Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in digital content, social media, and video production to ensure our content remains fresh and impactful.

What we’re looking for

  • Essential Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut).
  • Competent knowledge and experience in motion graphics and animation (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
  • Knowledge and experience with managing shoots, cameras and lighting

Portfolio: A strong portfolio or collection of personal/academic projects demonstrating your video, animation, and/or podcast production skills. We will only accept applications with portfolios.

Digitally Savvy: A good understanding of various social media platforms and how to create content optimised for each.

Creative Mindset: An imaginative approach to storytelling, with a keen eye for visual detail and an ear for compelling audio.

Proactive & Organised: The ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and proactively seek out new learning opportunities.

Collaborative Spirit: Eagerness to work effectively within a small, agile team and contribute positively to our culture.

A genuine passion for digital media, content creation, and engaging audiences.

If you're a passionate, creative individual eager to bring stories to life across various platforms and want to grow with a diverse organisation, we encourage you to apply.
