Be part of something exceptional

At Galliford Try, we build, maintain and improve the UK’s critical infrastructure. Our Environment Business delivers essential projects that protect communities, safeguard natural resources and improve the nation’s water infrastructure.

Operating across the UK, from the South West of England to the Highlands of Scotland, we work with all 13 of the UK’s major water and sewerage companies, alongside public and private sector clients, delivering innovative solutions that address ageing infrastructure, climate resilience, environmental challenges and increasing regulatory demands.

As one of the UK’s leading construction businesses, we’re committed to delivering lasting value through innovation, collaboration and sustainable delivery.

The Role

We’re looking for a Digital Construction Manager to play a pivotal role in driving digital delivery across our Environment projects.

As client digital and information management requirements continue to evolve, you’ll ensure projects consistently meet contractual digital obligations while championing best practice in Building Information Modelling (BIM), information management and digital construction technologies.

Working closely with project teams, clients and internal stakeholders, you’ll lead the implementation of digital processes, support the adoption of innovative technologies and ensure high-quality digital delivery from project mobilisation through to handover.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future of digital construction across one of the UK’s largest infrastructure businesses.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead the interpretation and implementation of client digital and BIM requirements, ensuring compliance with contractual information management standards.
  • Act as the primary interface with client digital teams, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring alignment throughout project delivery.
  • Develop, manage and oversee Information Execution Plans (IEPs), BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Information Delivery Plans (IDPs) and asset information requirements.
  • Support and standardise digital handover processes, ensuring all deliverables are complete, compliant and meet client expectations.
  • Mobilise and deploy digital initiatives and pilot technologies across live construction projects.
  • Provide onboarding, coaching and training to project teams, driving consistent adoption of digital tools and processes.
  • Support project teams in managing structured data, asset information and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with Galliford Try’s digital strategy, governance and information management processes.
  • Collaborate with project leadership, information managers, design teams and supply chain partners to ensure consistent digital delivery.
  • Monitor digital risks and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies where required.
  • Undertake quality assurance reviews of digital information before client submission.
  • Capture and analyse data from digital pilots, identifying lessons learned and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with technology providers to configure systems, resolve issues and optimise digital solutions.
About You

We’re looking for someone who combines strong digital expertise with practical construction or infrastructure experience.

  • Experience working with digital construction platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, Viewpoint for Projects, FieldView, Common Data Environments (CDEs) or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of BIM principles, information management standards and digital project delivery.
  • Experience managing digital mobilisation and information delivery on live construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Understanding of asset information requirements, digital handover processes and structured data management.
  • Experience supporting the adoption of new digital technologies across project teams.
  • Knowledge of document control processes, digital assurance and information governance.
  • An understanding of digital workflows, automation and systems integration.
  • The ability to contribute to innovation initiatives and continuous improvement programmes.
What You’ll Bring
  • Influence and engage multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Communicate complex digital concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and supply chain partners.
  • Solve problems using a structured and analytical approach.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple priorities.
  • Champion innovation and continuously seek opportunities to improve project delivery.
