Job summary

Kier Group plc in Suffolk is seeking a Senior Digital Construction Manager to join our Sizewell C team. You will lead information management and digital construction processes for the Sizewell C project, reporting to the Chief Engineer and guiding digital strategies across the infrastructure program.

You will manage ISO 19650 compliance, oversee common data environments, and support bid teams and supply chains while line-managing the digital construction group across the region.

Job description

We're looking for a Senior Digital Construction Manager to join our Sizewell C team based in Suffolk., Join our Technical Delivery Team as a Senior Digital Construction Manager, where you'll play a key role in managing information systems and digital construction processes for Sizewell C, a major 3.2-gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you'll lead digital strategies and ensure excellence in information management across this significant infrastructure project.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Senior Digital Construction Manager, you'll be working within the Technical Delivery Team, supporting them in delivering digital construction excellence and information management across the project. Your day to day will include:

• Managing all aspects of information management and ensuring ISO 19650 standards are adhered to across the project
• Overseeing the use of common data environments and digital workflows to support effective information sharing
• Leading digital strategy implementation and promoting best practice across the business and project teams
• Supporting bid teams and supply chain engagement whilst building strong relationships with stakeholders
• Line managing, coaching and mentoring the digital construction team whilst planning resources across the region

You have strong leadership skills with proven experience in building positive relationships both internally and with supply chains.

• You possess excellent understanding of the ISO 19650 series and openBIM standards such as IFC and COBie
• You're a confident communicator who can manage challenging scenarios with assertiveness and professionalism
• You're enthusiastic about using new technologies and innovative approaches to improve traditional ways of working
• You have experience with software tools for viewing and interrogating models, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
