Your role:

This is a site-based digital leadership role on our Sizewell C project, working 3-4 days a week. The DC Lead will shape the Digital Strategy and site delivery for the UK's largest Nuclear project. You will influence digital solution adoption on site, interface with key stakeholders, and coordinate digital streams like BIM, 4D, GIS, IM to promote a 'design for construction' approach using data and technology. You need an overarching understanding of project interfaces across design and construction, enabling coordination, integration, and client engagement. You will collaborate with the Head of Digital Construction, market account managers, and project teams across our Nuclear and Power EMEA business to implement and evolve the DC strategy aligned with company objectives and market trends.

Responsibilities:

• Shape and lead the digital strategy at Sizewell C, working directly within the client organization.
• Drive adoption of digital solutions on site and support the client’s digital strategy.
• Coordinate project stakeholders to promote digital solutions that enhance construction delivery.
• Act as the primary technical contact with the client.
• Coordinate and integrate digital streams like BIM, IM, 4D, 5D, GIS, Geospatial, IoT, Asset data for project delivery.
• Work with project teams across phases to integrate digital solutions, building a lifecycle Digital Twin.
• Provide expertise in construction data management and digital technology, ensuring integration of digital streams.
• Maintain data integrity, interoperability, and facilitate digital rehearsals, digital twin delivery, and handover.
• Guide model, data, and technology delivery, ensuring standards are met across all deliverables.
• Review and amend project & asset information models in collaboration with the project team and client.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, Digital Engineering & BIM, Geospatial Sciences, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience in construction project delivery and AGILE methodologies.
• Expertise in BIM, 4D/5D/6D, IM, or GIS/Geospatial.
• Site-based role (minimum 3-4 days/week) at Sizewell C.
• Strong understanding of digital streams and their interfaces for project delivery.
• Knowledge of lifecycle project delivery and how data/digital tools support interfaces across project phases.
• Proficiency in Digital Construction software like CDEs, BIM, GIS, data management tools, and their integration.
• Understanding of advanced technologies (AI, Robotics, XR) in Digital Construction.
• Ability to build client relationships and deliver business objectives.
• Leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Passion for emerging technologies and solving complex problems.
